Our Top 5 Restaurants in Cornwall

With lots of incredible guests coming to Cornwall for our knife making experience days. we thought we would compose a list of 5 restaurants, that you must visit while in the county. Admittedly Cornwall has a vast number of ridiculously incredible places to dine, which is why we will try and keep posting a new list each month.

The Tartan fox - The Tartan fox By celebrity chef Adam Handling, is located in Summercourt. it's a beautiful pub that also serves some of the more luxurious indulgences, such as caviar, lobster and also has a mind blowing wine list thats been very thoughtfully put together.

From the food, to the artwork on the walls, you can clearly tell that each detail has been curated by a Michelin star chef.

The Rising sun Truro - Owner Tom and Kate Hannon have created something truly magical here. its a pub, but on a completely different level. the flavours of each dish aren't just paired well but also presented in an extremely elegant way.

If you're also looking to push the little foodie boat out, the collection of wines, champagnes such as Krug and whiskeys are a little tempting to say the least.

With an interior thats cozy, classy and downright elegant, plus the edition of Pareusi steak knives, The rising sun has to be added to your list.

Ardor, St.Ives - After creating some BBQ skewers for this mediteranian inspired restaurant, we paid a visit to try it for our selves and we have to say, we didnt want to leave. If you have chance to sit at the chefs table, we highly recommend it, as you literaly feel like you're part of the brigade in the kitchen.

This place is great if you want to try lots of little delicious dishes to keep your pallet engaged you can also pick the fresh Cornish fish yourself to cook over the coals of the very theatrical Josper grill.

Driftwood spars St.Agnes - A pub. By the sea. with its own brewery and the head chef got to the semi finals of national chef of the year. This unbelivably charicteristic pub is located 60 seconds from St.Agnes beach and has won many awards for its own brewed beer.

The food at the driftwood truly celebrates cornish ingrediants and the selection of daily specials is... well.. just that. Head chef Tom Bennets loves to bring together what cornwall has to offer from its larder and present it elegantly on a plate.

The Peterville St.Agnes - Winner of the Best Pub In Britian and in The same village as our workshop, how could we not include This place.

Right in the heart of St.Agnes is where you will find this charming pub. its interior is stylish and cosy, which really creates a welcoming vibe, from the second you walk in.

All of the food on the menu is cooked beautifully and includes pub classics along with some special dishes that will blow your tastebuds away.

We hope this list helps you plan your next foodie getaway to Cornwall and let us know if you have any recommendations that deserve a place on our monthly list.

If you're also looking for accommodation, we highly recommend The Rose

In Vale country house hotel, which is set in an extremely peaceful valley, just outside of St.Agnes.
